Client Feedback

We were due to open our Family Entertainment Centre on the 13th of December. We had our Building Contractors in place from an early stage, but unfortunately they let us down as work was about to commence. Fortunately for us we were put in touch with Resurrection, and within a matter of days we had negotiated the contract and work started on site.

Resurrection were very detail conscious and communicated with us on a daily basis to ensure we were up-to-date and the contract was running efficiently.

Resurrection went out of their way to accommodate our contract and tight timescale. We were happy to work with such a professional company, and as promised they succeeded in completing the works in time for us to open on the 13th December.

Since opening we have continued to work with Resurrection and look forward to working with them on our next project.

I am pleased to be able to confirm the good standard of work, cooperation and advice we received from the above company.

We were a registered church charity in a transition period but in dire need of a new roof and structural alterations on our early 19th century grade II listed building in the centre of Sheffield.

Because of the very price conscious quote provided for the work we were able to secure a mortgage and achieve the necessary building renovation in time for our newly appointed Pastor in September.

Inevitably, with a building project, things occasionally did not go according to plan: however Resurrection was always at the other end of the phone to liaise with the various contractors to resolve matters. I was particularly appreciative of their personal integrity and understanding of our needs.

I thus have no hesitation in recommending Resurrection for a building project where quality and price are important.

The development of the Arthur Medical Centre extended the GP Surgery, and provided a purpose built Pharmacy. We sought a builder that could not only deliver value for money but that could also meet a tight completion deadline whilst working closely with us to ensure that normal healthcare services were maintained throughout the period of the building works. Resurrection were awarded the contract following competitive tender and proceeded to meet all our requirements.

Planning for a more complex second phase of development began a year later. This project was constrained by even tighter funding deadlines and was set to be more demanding in terms of maintaining normal medical services. Thus needing a builder of proven track record we had no hesitation in engaging Resurrection and we are once again benefiting from the good working relationship between their team and our own staff.

After a Long and lengthy process of trying to build this project, we had two contractors who both went into liquidation leaving us with a very tight budget and a half finished project. It looked as though we might lose our Church......but fortunately, our solicitor mentioned a company up north that could help us, as they had experience with helping other churches.

We quickly contacted them, forwarding all the relevant drawings and construction information. Their director came back to us very quickly with a possible way forward, and a strategic and comprehensive schedule of works.

When the costs were drawn up, we could not believe the figure given was possible, and engaged our quantity surveyor to check out the cost schedule. The previous contractors quotation was £1.7m. However, Resurrections quote came under £1m. Our seasoned quantity surveyor could not fully grasp the new direction that Resurrection group had identified. They were able to save costs while still maintaining quality and integrity. We cannot thank Resurrection enough as this building would not have been completed without their clear thinking and strategic planning. A special mention to Mr Zahir Malik who took a great personal risk by undertaking this development, and has kept his word throughout the entire project.

We, the Head teacher, Staff and Governors have been delighted with the new classroom upgrades and extension from Resurrection.

As Contract Administrator, I was very pleased with Resurrections completion of the project within time and cost frameworks, and was impressed with the efficiency and helpfulness of the site staff. I have no hesitation in recommending Resurrection to future clients for contracts of this nature.
